TRAINER LICENSING
Trainer Licencing is training program to certify the trainers so that they can provide the training in a better manner.Trainer Licencing is a program launched to enhance the quality to impart the training at various locations. It is aimed at those new to training to enable them to make an effective contribution to the training and development of others. It will give trainers the basic skills and knowledge needed as a foundation from which they can later develop further specialist skills of identifying training needs, training design, training facilitation and training evaluation.
Eligibility & Applicable charges
- Trainer License:
- Eligibility criteria for licensing an experienced ‘Trainer’:
- 2 years of work/training experience with respect to QP/Occupation
- 80% marks achieved in QP /NOS assessment (i.e. aggregate- 80% & per NOS - 70%)
- 80% marks achieved in TVET/ pedagogy assessments (i.e. aggregate- 80% & per NOS - 70%)
- License validity - 2 years
- Provisional Trainer Licensing:
- Eligibility criteria for licensing an experienced ‘Trainer’:
- 2 years of work/training experience with respect to QPs / Occupation
- 80% marks in QP /NOS concerned (i.e. aggregate- 80% & per NOS - 70%)
- 70% marks in TVET/pedagogy assessments. (i.e. aggregate -70% & per NOS-60%)
- License validity - 6 months*
- * Post 6 months will be eligible for reassessment in TVET, and aim for full licensing
- Associate Trainer Licensing:
- Eligibility criteria - 0-2 years of work/training experience with respect to
- QP/Occupation
- 80% marks in QP /NOS concerned (i.e. aggregate- 80% & per NOS - 70%)
- 80% marks in TVET/ pedagogy assessments (i.e. aggregate- 80% & per NOS - 70%)
- License validity - 2 years
- * Cannot practice independently. Will only work in conjunction with a full-fledged licensed trainer.
